Our last collaborative game project at PlaygroundSquad was a blast.
During nine weeks we created a game called Expiration Date which is a first-person shooter with a focus on stealth and resource management. You need to fight or sneak your way past enemies while constantly worrying about surviving the harsh environment to reach your goal. Enemies in the game have specialized sensors that detect sound and heat. While keeping yourself warm, doing so will enable enemies to detect you.
As I wanted to try working more with a realistic art style my role during this project was "environment artist" responsible of the Subway level (everything you see in the renders was not made by me). I worked on the level creation, assets, decals, set dressing, materials and a bit of lighting.
